In the wake of the City Council's decision regarding the Home Depot project in Sunland, the panel will discuss the evolving role of Neighborhood Councils in the City's Land Use decision making process.

Followed by a dialogue with the audience.

Neighborhood Council Review Commission (NCRC)

Raphael Sonnenschein, Executive Director of the NCRC, will present the recommendations of the Commission after many months of hearings and deliberations

Followed by a dialogue with the audience.

DONE Update

Carol Baker Tharp, General Manager of the Department of Neighborhood Empowerment

Ms. Baker Tharp will provide the Department's reaction to the NCRC's recommendations and provide and update on the Department's re-organization.
