Councilman, 7th Council District
Chair, Education & Neighborhoods Committee

Councilman Alarcon will discuss his goals for the future of Neighborhood Councils as Chair of the E&N Committee, including the future funding of NC's.

Followed by a dialogue with the audience.

Discussion Forum

We're going to try something a little different for this meeting. We will focus on three topics of interest to NC's and engage in round table discussions intended to share viewpoints among the neighborhood council leaders across the city.

Each discussion will run about 30 minutes.

Review and Reaction

At the end of the discussion period, Carol Baker Tharp, General Manager of the Department of Neighborhood Empowerment, will share her reactions to the discussions and suggestions for follow-up activities.
