Welcome - Noah Modisett Introductions and Open Mike Response by BongHwan Kim (invited), General Manager of the Department of Neighborhood Empowerment Keynote Speaker City Controller Laura Chick will discuss "What's Going On Behind Closed Doors at City Hall" Followed by a dialogue with the audience. Los Angeles Historic Resources Survey Ken Bernstein, Director of the Office of Historic Resources in the Planning Department will provide and overview of the first citywide Historic Resources Survey, that his office is conducting. Special Guest Speaker Ron Kaye, former editor of the Daily News and current organizer of the Saving LA Project (SLAP) will discuss his efforts to take back the city on behalf of its citizens. Followed by a dialogue with the audience.
