Ronald Mark Stone, President
Ronald Stone is the Vice President for West Coast Sales and Government Relations at
Netgov.com, Inc. He served as Federal Government Relations Administrator for
the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Association and as Legislative Assistant to United States Representative Jane Harman. Stone graduated from
the University of California at Los Angeles and received his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School. He lives in West Los Angeles.
Jimmie Woods-Gray, Vice President
Jimmie Woods-Gray is a teacher in the Los Angeles Unified School District and is a member of the National Education Association's Board of Directors. She is an
active member of many Democratic and women's organizations, and previously served as Chair of the Los Angeles County Democratic Central Committee. Woods-Gray
graduated from California State University and holds a Masters degree from Pepperdine University. She lives in South Los Angeles.
William Christopher.
William Christopher is a licensed architect and has 25 years experience in the field of commercial architecture. He has served on the Los Angeles City Planning
Commission and the Board of Zoning Appeals. Christopher is the founder of People for Livable and Active Neighborhoods in Los Angeles, PLAN/LA. He graduated from
the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. He currently resides in Hollywood.
Pat Herrera Duran.
Pat Herrera Duran retired in February 2001 from her position as Executive Director of Joint Efforts, a non-profit organization she founded in 1974. She
served on the Board of Neighborhood Commissioners under Mayor Richard Riordan, and has also been a Commissioner on the Los Angeles Board of Zoning Appeals.
Duran graduated from California State University at Long Beach and has done graduate work at California State University at Los Angeles. She lives in San Pedro.
Mary Louise Longoria.
Mary Louise Longoria is a Senior Human Relations Consultant for the Los Angeles County Commission on Human Relations and is the Multicultural/Bilingual Director
for the Lennox School District in Los Angeles County. She has been a Commissioner for the Los Angeles Department of Neighborhood Empowerment. Longoria graduated
from California State University and is a doctoral candidate at the University of Southern California. She lives in Arleta.
Tony Lucente.
Tony Lucente is the Director of Internal Communications for Nissan North America's Corporate Communications Department and is President of the Studio City
Residents Association. He currently serves on the South Valley Planning Commission and the County Citizens Economy and Efficiency Commission. He graduated with
a degree in Political Science from Wittenberg University in Ohio. He lives in Studio City.
David Trujillo.
David Trujillo is currently a Union Representative with the Union of American
Physicians and Dentists which is affiliated with AFSCME, AFL-CIO and has been
active in the Trade Union Movement for over 15 years. He has served as the
Southern California Political Director for the State Council of the Services
Employees International Union (SEIU) and has been an organizer and labor
representative for SEIU and AFSCME. In 1997 Mr. Trujillo attended the Harvard
Trade Union Program where he studied at the Kennedy School of Government. In
addition, Mr. Trujillo received his Masters Degree in Union Leadership and
Administration from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. Mr. Trujillo has
served under two different City Council members; serving with former City
Council member Mike Hernandez in the First Council District and Former City
Council member Richard Alacorn in the Seventh Council District, both in the role
of Chief Deputy. Over the years Mr. Trujillo has served on various boards and
has been active in community grassroots organizing. He has been involved in the
Highland Park Los Angeles Neighborhood Initiative (LANI) Program, the Los
Angeles Workforce Investment Board, Prop K Oversight Committee,
Labor-to-Neighbor, Health Community Coalition, Neighbors for Peace Greater
Eastside Voter Registration and Education Program, and various other grass roots
community organizations. Mr. Trujillo currently resides in the 14th Council
District.
